The Gauntlet is a four day Wargame (minis & hex) conference, held over Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend from January 14-17, 2022 at the Santa Clara Marriott Hotel.

The Gauntlet is presented by the folks that organize the Pacificon Game Expo each Labor Day Weekend and Pie Are Squared Events.

Covid Protocols:
The policy for attending this convention will be that all participants will be required to provide proof of current covid vaccination and masks will be required.  (As this is a social event, there are no exceptions.)

Flea Markets will be organized for Saturday and Sunday January 15 & 16 at 10pm. Tables are available for purchase to Gauntlet Weekend Pass and Staff and Volunteers only.
Table cost will be $20 for Saturday, $20 for Sunday. It will be billed by separate invoice if you don’t purchase it with your weekend pass. These are sold on a first come, first served basis. There are no refunds on flea market table purchases.

The Official Gauntlet Commemorative T-Shirt:
T-shirts are available for $25, a bit more for larger sizes. You can purchase a Silver Weekend pass and save $5 from the cost. t-shirt orders must be made by December 24, 2021. There are no refunds on t-shirt purchases.

Any paid and badged attendee of The Gauntlet may submit a game to be run at the show. Event Submission is now live!! Follow this link to submit a game or two or more.

Current events submitted and approved can be found at the following link. Games will be coming in throughout the next month, so check back every couple of days as we update.

GM Rewards:
Persons who submit and have approved at least 8 hours of multi-player gaming, will be awarded a comp GM badge. Comp GM badges are limited based on the number of attendees attending the conference.
Player Hours are the total of non-GM players hours (actual number of non-GM players times the number of actual game play hours).
We are accepting game submissions for any attendee up through December 30, 2021.
